Please join the NWSOFA Restore Our Democracy group on May 13, 2021 at 7pm as we host Rosie Rees, Indivisible Evanston, as she presents an in-depth historical perspective of the filibuster, how it works today to impede Congressional action, the changes it has gone through since its inception, how it might be changed or eliminated, and who and what is standing in the way of progress to that end to help us answer the question “Jim Crow Relic: Why do we need the filibuster?”.
