National John Lewis Day of Action Votercades 

The voting rights of America’s Voters of Color and Youth Voters are under attack nationally by state legislators introducing and passing laws to suppress their participation in elections. Meanwhile, big business and billionaires are able to spend unlimited amounts of funding to buy our elections.

Join us as we mobilize on May 8 in the name of John Lewis as part of 100 events across the nation to pass the For the People Act (H.R. 1), the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (H.R. 4), D.C. Statehood and address the filibuster to do so.

Together, we can build a better nation and a stronger democracy.

National John Lewis Day of Action VoterCades this Saturday May 8th ..

Across America at over 250 cities and towns .. May 8 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm..

In the NorthWest Suburbs we will gather for the start of the socially Distanced “VoterCade” at 1 pm at the Palatine Sikh Gurudwara, 1280 Winnetka St, in the parking lot across the street … to decorate our cars and listen to Voters Rights Champions from the local communities ..

At 2:00 pm we will “VoterCade” from the Palatine Gurudwara to the Dupage County Gov’t Complex in Wheaton .. (a 43 minute VoterCade) to attend from the “MAIN Event from safety of our cars.. Address of the Wheaton event is 421 N County Farm Rd. Wheaton, IL 60187

Starting at 3 pm ending at 4 pm: Speakers featuring Sean Casten and other speakers on Voter Suppression HR1, HR4, Filibuster, and DC Representation..will hold a Press conferance while we remain in our cars.
