We will host a “Lights for Liberty” vigil, to end human detention camps. We will join thousands of Americans, throughout the nation, in a peaceful protest to, bring attention to the inhumane conditions faced by refugees.We will peacefully demand closure of all detention camps.
What: “Lights for Liberty” Vigil
“Lights for Liberty Vigil”…. to End Human Detention Camps, will bring thousands of Americans to detention camps across the country, into the streets and into their own front yards, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees.We welcome individuals and organizations who support an end to human detention camps to join us. Parents and children are certainly welcome.
We will have a planned agenda, for the event. We will have speakers, readings, and songs…. “This Land is Your Land”… “This little light of mine,I’m gonna let it shine!” We will leave the evening with a “Call TO Action.”
Please bring posters in support of the event. Posters with profanity or demeaning comments will not be a part of this event. Also, please bring a small flashlight. We will use flashlights, rather than candles,during the vigil. Bring water to drink. Wear comfortable shoes. The site is wheelchair accessible.

The event will begin at 7:00 PM. You’re welcome to begin arriving at 6:45.
