Joy Anderson is a senior staff attorney at Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy, where she works on climate, water quality, and mining issues. Before joining MCEA, she was a shareholder at Minneapolis law firm Gray Plant Mooty, where she was a litigator and the head of the pro bono program. Joy will discuss the MN Atty. Gen. law suit against Exxon and Koch Industries.
Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy is a nonprofit organization that uses law and science to protect Minnesota’s environment, its natural resources, and the health of its people. For nearly 50 years, MCEA has worked in the courts, at the legislature, and with public agencies to enact, strengthen and enforce smart environmental laws.
In addition, author Barbara Freese will discuss her book on corporate responsibility denial.
