# We HaveNotForgotten Candlelight Vigil
Sat. 4/13/13 7-9 pm
Chicago North West Suburban along with Lake and McHenry Organizing for Action will gather for a candle light vigil to remember those who have lost their lives due to gun violence as we push for a vote on sensible gun ownership legislation.
We must not allow the senseless deaths of the innocent at Northern Illinois University; the young of Chicago; the Sikh temple worshippers at Oak Creek, WI; those at a theater in Aurora, Co; nor those at Sandy Hook Elementary School to go without our seeking to demand that our elected officials, national and local, begin to work towards writing and passing legislation that will require that those who exercise their legal right to own a firearm do so responsibly.
Please bring a battery operated candle ( we’re not allowed to have real candles) and a sign if you wish.
