NWSOFA Indivisible Partner Event: Moms Demand Action at Wheeling’s National Night Out

We will be having a Be SMART For Kids table at Wheeling’s National Night Out.  If you’re not yet familiar, “Be SMART” is Moms Demand Action’s educational outreach program that aims to reduce unintentional shootings and suicides of children and teens by advocating for responsible gun storage.  (You can get more information about Be SMART by visiting the website)  www.BeSmartForKids.org

National Night Out is a community event sponsored by the Wheeling Police Department and Park District to foster positive relationships between community members and the police. We have our table well staffed with volunteers now, but would love it if you could stop by to visit us and show your support for gun violence prevention in Wheeling.  Our booth will be in the Vendor Area from 5:30-8:30….Hope to see you there!
