NWSOFA Indivisible Partner Event: Bike Palatine Community Bike Ride

Bike Palatine Club are pleased to announce the first annual Palatine Community Bike Ride.
All are invited to participate in this family-friendly, casual ride.
Date: Saturday, July 20
Time: Registration begins at 8:30 AM and the ride rolls out at 9:00 AM.
Location: Palatine Towne Square
Distance: 5.3 miles
The Community Bike Ride provides an opportunity to join many village officials and area legislators for a ride through Palatine’s neighborhoods. Did you know Palatine adopted a formal Bike Plan in 2011? Since that time, bicycling conditions have improved significantly in our community. This route showcases bike-related infrastructure that has been constructed throughout the village in recent years. You’ll have the opportunity to ride alongside many village officials and area legislators. This is also an opportunity to communicate and develop a positive rapport with our officials.
At the end of the ride, enjoy an ice cream sandwich on us. Feel free to stay afterwards to ask questions or share your ideas and opinions for more cycling improvements with our elected officials. Let’s continue to build on these recent successes to make our community more bikeable for all.
