NWSOFA, an Indivisible affiliate, is proud to sponsor a Fair Tax Town Hall at 7 PM, May 21st, in the Buechner Room at the Arlington Heights Village Hall. Former State Senator Daniel Biss will explain why Illinois needs a progressive income tax and answer your questions. Join us to learn about the path to getting a Fair Tax passed and what it would mean for Illinois’ future! Following the Fair Tax Town Hall, NWSOFA’s Fiscal and Economic Issues group will give an update on the US and Illinois economies (job growth, GDP growth, trade deficit, budget deficit, etc.) and answer questions from attendees. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. All are welcome.
