The Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community has experienced a dramatic spike in the number of hate crimes in the past year. According to the organization Stop AAPI Hate there have been at least 6,603 documented attacks from March 2020 to March 2021, and leaders say the true number is much higher as many attacks go unreported.
Please join us as we discuss anti-Asian hate crimes and their connection to broader problems of BIPOC racism and xenophobia. #StopAAPIHate
