Barrington Area Moms Demand Action (BAMDA) presents a
Community-based panel discussion featuring community leaders and issue experts on the local impact of gun violence here in the Northwest Suburbs. Speakers will illuminate how they navigate these concerns within their community roles.

Barrington Area Moms Demand Action (BAMDA)

 

BAMDA will start off the year with a community-based panel discussion, on the local impact of gun violence here in the Northwest Suburbs. Speakers will include:

Roman Buchberger, Deputy Sheriff, Lake County Sheriff’s Office

Mark Jones, retired ATF supervisory special agent and firearms policy expert

Penny Kazmier, Barrington D220 School Board Vice President, member since 2005

Dr. Taaha Shakir, MD, Edward Hospital, Pediatric Hospitalist currently practices inpatient pediatrics, but also has an interest in helping children better understand what causes them stress and anxiety, especially as it relates to social media.
