Type of event: St. Patrick’s Day parade–Nelly’s is sponsoring first St. Pat’s parade in two years to celebrate the bar’s 50th anniversary.
Greater Palatine Area Democrats has registered for a parade spot, open to candidates to march with GPAD at the start of Primary season. Expected and invited candidates and incumbents: Cook County Commissioner Scott Britton, Commissioner Kevin Morrison, and candidates Mary Beth Canty (54th House), Chelsea Laliberte Barnes (51st House) Nabeela Syed (51st House), Maria Peterson (26th Senate) Maggie Trevor (County Board 9th District).
Please park at the parking garage at Colfax and Wood Streets, then walk over to the staging area on Oak Street, near Palatine Village Hall, 200 E. Wood St. The parade will end near the parking garage.
