HOT FACTS !!! – Starts Promptly at 7 More jobs added in Biden’s first year than in Trump’s first 3 years “Presented in February Fiscal and Economic Issues Meeting”

Arlington Heights, IL 60005
When: Monday, March 14, 7:00 PM

HOT FACT !!! – More Jobs added in Biden’s first year (6.6 million) than in Trump’s first 3 years (6.5 million)

The US is currently recovering from the deepest downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930’s with 2.9 million fewer jobs than February 2020 as of the January employment report. On the plus side, over 6.6 million jobs have been added since January 2021 when Biden took office – an average of 551,000 per month. If current trends continue the US will have fully recovered all the lost jobs in 2022.

Did you know that during Biden’s first budget year (FY 2022) federal spending will probably decline by about one trillion dollars and the deficit will fall by more than one trillion dollars!!! Little known and NEVER reported!

The NWSOFA Fiscal and Economic Issues group will meet VIRTUALLY on Monday, February 21st at 7 pm. The Zoom room will open by 6:50 pm. Come join us and share your thoughts.

The BLS reported a gain of 467,000 payroll jobs in January. For comparison, ADP showed a loss of 300,000 jobs and the Household Survey showed 1.2 million more people had jobs. So the data is all over the board.

Twelve month inflation continued to be high in January at 7.5%.

Congress avoided shutdowns this week by funding the government with a continuing resolution through March 11th.
