IL Alliance to Prevent Gun Violence November Meeting

with Community Violence Interruption panel

WEDNESDAY at 6:00 p.m. on Zoom! Our meeting features a unique statewide panel of community violence interruption (and prevention) experts. This is your chance to hear about the challenges being faced by the people doing the hard work day-to-day in the community of defusing tense situations and derailing the cycle of violence and helping individuals to choose a better future!

In addition we are going to be getting an important update about the launch of SAFE Illinois, a new 501(c)(4) organization that is going to be focused on the ROOT CAUSES of gun violence in Illinois and endorsing candidates who will work hard to reduce gun violence in Illinois.

PLEASE BRING A FRIEND! Our success depends on activating and engaging the NEXT circle of GVP activists in Illinois and finding those in the community who are ready to become GVP activists. Let’s see some NEW FACES on Wednesday!
