Sandy Hook Six Month Anniversary Vigil (Not Backing Down Event)
It has been six months since 26 children and teachers were gunned down in Newtown, but we have not forgotten them for a single day. Please join with us to honor the memories of those taken too soon on December 14, 2012. We will also acknowledge the 4,800 additional Americans murdered since then, while Congress continues to ignore our pleas for action. This vigil is being held by Newtown Action Alliance in partnership with NWSOFA, Palatine Democrats, Common Sense Reform, Moms Demand Action, and People for a Safer Society, with other groups to join soon.
