In the midst of the relentless news reporting tragic shootings in Illinois, there have been two very positive outcomes for gun violence prevention recently:

The Illinois Supreme Court has upheld the new state law banning the sale of assault weapons in Illinois

Governor Pritzker signed legislation which allows bans on certain types of advertising for guns.
