Sara Horan and Bill Davis – NWSOFA Chapter Co-Leads
Help us tackle one of biggest problems in representative government!

President Barack Obama is asking us, the volunteers of NWSOFA, to join in what may be the most important fight for equal representation in our country’s history. He is asking us to combine our forces with former Attorney General Eric Holder’s National Redistricting Action Fund (NRAF).

Modern redistricting presents an opportunity to fundamentally reshape elections and restore
  • fairness to our democracy,
  • accountability to our political leaders, and
  • power of the election process to the people.
Our NWSOFA will soon begin to integrate redistricting with the important issues we are already actively addressing including:
  • Gun Violence Prevention,
  • Fiscal and Economic,
  • Climate Change,
  • Immigration,
  • Affordable Care Act registration,
  • Women’s Rights,
  • Diversity Outreach
Just like we did with our “I will Vote” and “Team 2018” campaigns, we can make a difference.

OFA has been through many iterations and has adapted many times all in the pursuit of a fairer, more representative, and more participatory democracy.

The next 3 months will be a transition period.

What can you expect?  expect great changes, expect small changes, expect some challenges, expect a new name, logo and banner  .. expect more interaction with the President, Michelle and Eric Holder.

NWSOFA will work to ensure that YOU, the volunteers who have powered our movement, have all necessary support to move toward this new chapter.

So stay tuned. Additional programming announcements will be coming soon.

Thanking you in advance for your continuing support and hard work,
Sara, Kathy and Bill

Join the NWSOFA Team as we protect the gains we made
over the last 8 years and move our Progressive social issues forward in 2018 .
