NWSOFA Fiscal Issues/ Tax Reform & Jobs Discussion Groups
With the rhetoric of the right calling for the “defunding of Obamacare or shutting the Government down”, the NWSOFA are issuing this “call to arms” (actually to the phones) to call your Elected Representatives. We will review the recent released information on the improvement in the US Economy and better than expected results on the US Budget and Debt. It now looks like November 1) is the day when we will meet the fiscal limit – four months later than expected. We will have plenty to discuss. The topics change but are always focused on Fiscal Issues/ Tax Reform and Jobs. Everyone is welcome and any topic can be brought to the table. Last month studied the the upcoming impact of the ACA on the budget and debt and recent revelations from the Congressional Budget Office showing huge improvements in the economy and deficit based on the recently passed Senate Immigration bill (both improvements). Our discussion will continue as we review the September release of new Jobs figures (August’s) and the revision of July’s as a further review of the positive improvements in the U.S. economy and jobs, and how that is favorably impacting the budget discussions and overall debt.
