Ethan’s Law will require firearm owners to lock up their guns if there are children under the age of 18 occupying their home. It is named in honor of Ethan Song, a 15-year-old boy who was killed with an unsecured gun in January 2018. The White House has signaled to NAA’s Legislative Team that it wants to see this bill passed, and strategy discussions have already begun to focus on getting this bill passed out of the Senate. When Ethan’s Law passes out of the House, it will be the first gun safety bill in 30 years to have a real chance of becoming federal law. Please help us make history.
