Some like their FACTS HOT!!! – January Fiscal and Economic Issues Meeting

Des Plaines, IL 60016
When: Tuesday, January 18, 7:00 PM

Please attend “ Facts are best served HOT.. At our Fiscal & Economic January 18th 2022 Meeting“. Despite the odd time shown above, the meeting is still starting a little before 7 pm.

Did you know that during Biden’s first budget year (FY 2022) federal spending will probably decline by about one trillion dollars and the deficit will fall by more than one trillion dollars!!! Little known and NEVER reported!

The NWSOFA Fiscal and Economic Issues group will meet VIRTUALLY on Tuesday, January 18th at 7 pm. The Zoom room will open by 6:50 pm. Come join us and share your thoughts.

The US is currently recovering from the deepest downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930’s with 4.2 million fewer jobs than last February as of the October employment report. On the plus side, over 5.5 million jobs have been added since January – over 600,000 per month.

In October we broke down the components of the bipartisan infrastructure bill and the proposed reconciliation bill. We will also discuss inflation, including forecasts for future GDP growth and inflation. Important deadlines are the early December expiration of the continuing resolution bill and an increase/suspension of the debt ceiling.

Plus Christine will present information on Modern Monetary Theory (MMT).
