“Resources Matter – Do More to Waste Less” – Our August speaker is Mary S. Allen, the Recycling and Education Director for the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC). She will highlight the agency’s programs, waste prevention tips, myths and realities of recycling, and share results from a recent cart tagging project in Barrington and two other communities.

Our September meeting will be a presentation for the Vote Yes for Clean Air, Clean Water, and Wildlife in Cook County campaign which is a countywide binding referendum on the ballot this November.
