The NWSOFA Fiscal and Economic Issues group will meet VIRTUALLY in September, probably the week of 9/19, at 7 pm. The Zoom room will open by 6:50 pm. Come join us and share your thoughts.

The July jobs report showed 528,000 jobs added. With these additional jobs, total jobs was the most ever.
July twelve month inflation was 8.5%. One month inflation for July was 0.0%. With gas prices continuing to decline, hopefully overall inflation will continue to fall.
Spending and the deficit will come down by about $1 trillion in fiscal year 2022 which ends September 30th, Biden’s first budget year.
