The NWSOFA Fiscal and Economic Issues group met VIRTUALLY in August, date TBD, at 7 pm. The Zoom room will open by 6:50 pm. Come join us and share your thoughts.
[The August 16th date allows everyone to access the two PowerPoint presentations from the July meeting. It is also a possible date for the August meeting.]

David and Karl will be updating the fiscal and economic data and will present it in August:

“Come learn about the current state of the US economy.”

The June Jobs report issued July 8th showed 372,000 jobs added. June twelve month inflation was 9.1%.

Spending and the deficit will come down by about $1 trillion in fiscal year 2022 which ends September 30th, Biden’s first budget year.
