Protecting Our Children – and Grandchildren – Against Gun Violence:
Actions Steps You Can Take Now to Create Safer Communities for Every Family
Join NWSOFA/Indivisible GVP Team this Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 7:00 pm CDT on Zoom, as we listen, learn and elevate the voices of survivors who have tragically experienced a family member being taken by gun violence and learn from fellow gun violence prevention advocates who are working to end gun violence in Illinois and beyond.
For this coming Thursday, July 27, 2023, include Yolanda Androzzo, Executive Director, One Aim Illinois, https://oneaimil.org/, which “advocates for common-sense, evidence-based, gun prevention measures that will save lives in Illinois” – and everywhere for that matter.
In addition, we will hear from Mary Kay Mace, whose only child, Ryanne, was tragically taken by gun violence on February 14, 2008. Mary Kay and her husband, Eric, established this scholarship in Ryanne’s name: https://niu.academicworks.com/donors/eric-and-mary-kay-mace
As always, we hope your time with us will leave you inspired and more determined than ever to stand up and use your voice – and your vote – to create safer communities for every family in America.
