“NWSOFA TUESDAY PIZZA NIGHT”
enjoy pizza and Open Disc around the tables
Moretti’s Ristorante & Pizzeria, 1799 Busse Rd, Mount Prospect
Tuesday 1/13 @ 4-7PM Central Zoom!
We’ll be meeting at **Moretti’s Ristorante & Pizzeria, 1799 Busse Rd, Mount Prospect**, to discuss the this administration and its impacts on Democracy, and our collective actions..
Moretti’s Ristorante & Pizzeria, 1799 Busse Rd, Mount Prospect
We will have a donation jar to defray the cost of pizza and pop .. note beer and pizza is half price on Tuesday’s
The conversation will take place at our reserved tables inside at the rear of the restaurant. And yes—there will be plenty of pizza to share as we brainstorm, connect, and organize.
Now more than ever, it’s critical for Democrats and all who oppose authoritarian overreach to hold the line. By showing up, speaking out, and standing shoulder-to-shoulder, we send a clear message: our healthcare, freedoms, and democratic values are not bargaining chips.
As with all Indivisible events, we are committed to *nonviolent, lawful action*. We ask that all participants engage respectfully, focus on de-escalating any potential confrontations, and refrain from bringing weapons of any kind, including those that are legally permitted.
This is a time for sharing ideas, rallying our community, and uniting in the fight for a government that truly serves the people.
_Stop in for a slice or stay the evening_

Join “SHARING OUR STORIES (SOS)
Organizing/Planning Meeting
Wednesday, January14 @7CT – zoom
Our very own Sharing Our Stories (SOS) group is hosting its 8th meeting, dedicated to amplifying the voices of those affected by the harmful policies of the Trump administration.
In this meeting we will seek out committed volunteers to move this project forward.
Whether you have a story to share or possess skills in writing, video content creation/editing, research/story development, interviewing, volunteer organization, social media amplification, tech skills, or leadership, or can help by finding stories or sharing one of your own your talents are needed.
Together, we’ll collect and lift up these narratives—spreading them across social media, legislative hearings, town halls, protests, and personal conversations. No story is too small; every experience matters.
________________________________________
By coming together, we create a space to foster empathy, spark meaningful change, and ensure these crucial stories are heard. Personal stories can move hearts and minds in ways facts alone cannot—they turn statistics into urgent calls for compassion and justice.
Join us on January 14th 27 CT for a powerful evening of connection, learning, and action. By coming together as the Indivisible community, we can ensure our voices—our stories—shape the future we want to see.
Everyone in our Indivisible community is welcome; every voice matters. Your participation will be invaluable as we work together for lasting change.

Join “Sorting Soup”:
A Book Club for Resistance & Resilience
Randy Allen Walker’s Project 2025 Survival Guide
THURSDAYS @5pm & SUNDAYS @9 AM CT Zoom!
Sorting Soup has evolved into a space where we do more than just talk about the news—we read the blueprints, name the patterns, and build the knowledge we need to resist authoritarianism with clarity and purpose. We’re currently a dedicated book club diving deep into two essential guides for this moment: Randy Allen Walker’s Project 2025 Survival Guide,
Every Thursday at 5PM Central
Every Thursday at 5PM Central, we gather on Zoom to read aloud, process collectively, and connect the dots between policy, history, and our lived realities. Each session begins with a brief check-in where we see who’s in the room and what’s on our hearts, then we dive straight into the text—whether it’s dissecting a chapter of Project 2025’s attack on civil rights or learning tactical lessons from feline resistance strategies. We read together, we react honestly, and we make space for both grief and action.
Sunday Seconds: Go Deeper, Catch Up, or Just Breathe
Missed Thursday? Need more time with the material? Just want to process with a smaller, quieter group? That’s what Sunday Seconds is for. Every Sunday morning, we reconvene to revisit the previous week’s reading in greater depth. We slow down, pull out the quotes that hit hardest, highlight contributions from first-time speakers, and make space for the reflections that didn’t quite fit on Thursday night.
So grab your book, your coffee, and your courage—the soup’s on, and there’s always room for one more spoon in the pot. Let’s read, resist, and rise together.
