Last year, our Happy Blue Year (HBY) event celebrated the culmination of Indivisible IL9’s efforts to take back the House and provide a check on President Trump. This year, HBY will kick off our campaign to continue the work in 2020 by providing our community with actionable items for electing progressive leaders in our community, holding the House, taking back the Senate, and firing Donald Trump!
This campaign has a name — “20 in 2020” — and we are asking you to take the “20 in 2020 Challenge” by volunteering 20 hours, giving 20 dollars, or finding 20 people to join our movement and turn the blue wave into a blue tsunami.
We are counting on every member of our progressive community to step it up in 2020, and it starts with HBY 2.0. Will we see you there?
Event is FREE, but attendees are asked to make a $10 donation (or any amount) at http://bit.ly/indivisible20in2020 to fund the work of Indivisibles in Illinois in 2020 and beyond.
Theater seats are first come first served. Please arrive early to check in as this ticket does not guarantee theater seating.
5:00pm Pre-program includes Women’s March sign making sponsored by Indivisible Evanston
6:00pm Activism fair – Meet others working on issues and campaigns in Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan.
Special performances by Black Ensemble Theater Band and Joel Hall Dancers & Center
Cash bar and refreshments.
Transportation: Wilson El stop (Red, Purple), #22 bus, limited non-metered street parking on nearby side streets. Handicapped accessible.
