NWSOFA Climate Change July Meeting

We had a wonderful turnout for “The Age of Consequences” documentary and will continue the discussion and possible additional showings. Both the Palatine Cool Cities team and the Mt. Prospect team have actions in the works on how to make our towns more sustainable. Come and find out how to start a team in your town. Also bring your ideas for our 1-Minute Climate Activist actions.
We will be starting discussions on the CMAP on their “ON TO 2050” plan That we first heard about from Peter Goer at the Palatine Cool Cities meeting … we will discuss using our Climate Change Team to make a presentation of the GRC2 Framework, what it ‘s about, and how use the booklet for your local Villages, Cities, municipalities.
