This fall, The Ladle & Literature Society—also known as the Sorting Soup Book Club—offers two routes into the work of sustaining ourselves and building power. Beginning Sunday, August 30, we’ll gather around books that take both the personal toll of organizing and the practical work of winning seriously. Choose the conversation that best meets the moment—or join both, because the mess is multifaceted and, frankly, so are we.
